Just here to throw in my tuppence worth on the excellent Ecco shop. The two insulting one-star reviews from early 2023 are from local charity shop regulars who also happen to be shameless submoronic chisellers who believe they're entitled to abuse hardworking underpaid employees who work wonders in this spacious, welcoming and well-stocked shop.

The man at Ecco Bishops Stortford is the most unpleasant person we have ever come across (surely cannot be the manager as he has no people and communication skills). He always looks totally bored and annoyed at being there, is condescending and way too busy looking at his phone to look up at you when you are actually taking time out of your busy day to donate quality goods and has clearly never heard of the basic word thank you! I would avoid donating here - instead take your donations to the lovely welcoming people at Oxfam and British Heart Foundation, where they really appreciate charity. Suggest the man at Ecco is better suited to working remotely!
