Sones Accountancy Services Ltd

I have just started using Sones Accountancy from Feb this year and so far I'm absolutely blown away by Kim and her team. Kim constantly updates me on monthly reports, tax planning and calculating my VAT returns which I have no stress with as they sort it all out so I can concentrate on my business. Using the software they provide me to upload receipts, check quotes, invoices everything is all stored in one place and I have 24/7 access to. Customer service level is fantastic as Kim is always available to chat, text or email. Having used other accountants over the years I wish I found Kim earlier !!! Highly recommend to anyone needing an accountant and definitely who needs an accountant for their Landscaping business.

In 2014 after 4 years of trading we grew to a size where we needed someone who understood our business and our complex bookkeeping needs. Kim from Sones Accountancy worked tirelessly to understand our in house software system, sales invoicing and creditors accounts. Over a period of 6 years Kim is now regarded as a member of our team who we turn to for sound advice particularly over this troubled time we have all had in 2020. Kims knowledge on payroll and furlough has been invaluable. We would not be able to replace Sones Accountancy expertise or find another company with such reasonable pricing.

I had been completing my invoices manually for a long time, I knew I needed to get a more professional system but was sceptical as I thought it would be too complicated and I was in the mindset of if its not broken why fix it. After spending over 2 hours on my manual invoices I took the plunge and signed up to the Xero free trial, after having a vague look around, adding a few basics details I was a bit overwhelmed so I booked a training session with Kim. Xero has many facilities, Kim was able to quickly identify the best way for me to use it. Within my hours training session, Kim showed me around Xero in a simple, easy to understand way. Kim is thoughtful, honest and professional, I felt completely at ease and comfortable to ask any questions, however silly I thought they may be. Kim went out of her way to show me how to do tasks quickly and gave me little tricks I can use to make my life easier. I have been using Xero for 2 months now and it really has made my life so much easier and has saved me so much time. Completing my invoices each month is not a daunting task now, I can easily copy invoices, check bank payments against invoices within seconds which I have found invaluable, it is a brilliant system and I would completely recommend it. I wouldnt feel this confident without Kims training session though, as when I first looked at it I was quite worried I would make a mistake but I can say I havent had any questions since the session although I know Kim is there if I do get stuck in the future. I would recommend anybody thinking about getting a professional accountancy system or is already a Xero user to have a training session with Kim to have a better understanding of it and how it can work best for you.
