Cannot Recommend!! Quoted for replacing my mums (who is in her 80s) boiler and hot water tank, it wasnt cheap but my mum wanted to go ahead because Phil seemed so friendly and genuine. After my mum had paid a 50% deposit, Phil then emailed me, claiming hed made an error on the quote and the boiler hed named didnt exist, a Google search told me this wasnt true. However, it was winter, my mum was worried because Phil had said the water tank was unsafe, so we gave him the benefit of the doubt about the clerical error, my mum saying that he would know best. He did the job and my mum was happy, Phil left some rubbish in her garage, saying he would be back in a couple of days to collect it. Its now been months and he has not returned. The casing has not been fitted correctly on mums boiler, so it rattles when its running, and then 2 weeks ago, my mum noticed the condenser waste pipe (fitted by Phil) was leaking into her cupboard and has been for some time, causing damage. She rang Phil straightaway, he said he couldnt talk to her about it over the phone and she would have to email him. I did this for her immediately, and 4 days later we had a response, with no apology, stating he would come out in another 4 days time, he never showed up!!

We have just had Phil from Hillside Heating upgrade our heating system including installing a new Hive. Professional, trustworthy and courteous and all work completed on time and very tidy. Thanks Phil.

Engineer turned up to the working boiler just for the annual service. Then served GAS warning notice because outside plume pipe was 5 cm too close to the window (which has been since the house was built 6years ago and passed all other annual boiler checks). Left family of 5 with heavily pregnant wife without heating or hot water. Then estimated the job for 350 and said he could come in a week at the earliest. Had a job carried out 2 days later by another engineer for half that price. BE AWARE - RIP OFF

Highly recommend Hillside heating for all your heating and plumbing needs . Phil is professional and discreet and left everything clean and tidy. He arrived on time and did a fantastic job with my boiler and fitting a new central heating thermostat.
