A very very old building, built at around Francis Drake period. And it feels like it. An interesting stay. We had the front apartment. The shower water is on a pump and over a bath. The bedroom had a huge old open fireplace and smelt of burnt wood. The floors are uneven as is the plasterwork. A fine example of a very old building and a stay here is an experience just dont expect modern conveniences.

Hidden gem, randomly chose to stay here and i was very pleasantly surprised. A very charming and crooked old place which was fresh and clean feel. We stayed in the Red room, and we were delighted at the sloping old floor, huge bed and interesting features. Good breakfast and very friendly hosts. A great find.
