Castle Dog Groomers

Dreadful cut with apparently little care taken, as our dog has a dozen small nicks and shaver burns. And in two spots, neck and hind leg, the cut was was so bad that the skin is showing, so it looks awful. In addition he has now spent 3 days and nights furiously licking all these wounds and was so stressed we have taken him to the vet. This was/ is a usually really calm and happy dog. Finally we were unhappy on returning to collect him to find him still tied up on the table with no one watching him (a point our vet was incredulous at) So you will understand why we would not recommend using this place if you want your dog to be cared for.

Was fairly happy with the actual groom but the owner messaged my partner claiming one of her household had left a bad review (they hadnt) and proceeded to be very rude via message. We will definitely not be returning.

Dog enjoyed his groom and came back sweet-smelling and sleek. Unfortunately also came back with clipper burn and a nick on his flank, which he kept worrying at, so it took a good couple of weeks to heal. Vet advice was to treat with hypochlorous spray and use a lampshade collar if necessary. Fortunately the spray worked. Won't be coming back though.

My dog was returned with bleeding nails and a wound to her ear that needed stitches under anaesthetic. When I informed the owner of the severity of my dog's injury, she was rather dismissive and said it was a graze that must have got worse due to her scratching it. This was certainly not the case. We are hugely upset by the whole experience and therefore can not recommend.

Great service from friendly people who really know what they are about. My collie dog looks his best ever! Well worth it. He even smells better!
