Outstanding and excellent value. Our room was spotlessly clean, with nice touches such as proper milk in the fridge (no UHT nonsense), bottles of sparking and still water on arrival (even though the water from the tap is fine to drink) and cotton buds and cotton wool balls in the bathroom. Perhaps the best breakfast Ive had in any UK hotel, at any price. Options of kippers and smoked salmon, but the full English was a real treat, all cooked to order, so no lukewarm or frazzled or dry stuff from a buffet. Our room faced towards the bell tower referred to elsewhere, but it was pretty quiet and didnt disturb our sleep. Super friendly staff too. Nothing to criticise here.
