Highly recommend Bank House - it is exceptional and really good value for money. The house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and light with very comfy beds. It was really clean and a beautiful home made lemon drizzle left in the room. Breakfast was great and Gerry was a great host - a good mix of available but not intrusive. We went as a large family group and would definitely go again.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Bank House Bed and Breakfast. Gerry, the host, is exceptional. Helpful, friendly and also a superb cook. We stayed on the Caradoc room. This is a large room with a very comfortable super king bed with high quality linen. The bathroom is also very large with a free standing bath and separate shower. The home made lemon drizzle cake (not just a couple of slices, a whole cake!) in our room was delicious. As was the shortbread. Breakfast was also excellent. Made freshly once at your table with locally sourced products. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

(Translated by Google) Fantastic b&b, spacious room, fantastic bed, wonderful shower and a super breakfast with all the trimmings. Car or motorcycle(s) are on site. Don't forget to taste the shortbread and cake that are waiting for you in your room. Perfect base to discover Shropshire and Wales. Beautiful setting even if it's not raining :) The Royal Welsh show is an hour away and the route there is beautiful. Gerry is a very nice hostess with a great sense of (English) humour! Tip of the day: private dining at the Chai Shop opposite the Bank House. Authentic Indian food. We enjoyed our stay for four days.
