Our fifth time at the Barn since it opened, managing a trip every year pre-COVID. Returning after circa 2 years due to COVID, it was like coming back home. Tim & Andrea continue to be attentive, good humoured, & considerate hosts. The Barn is neat, tidy, clean & warm with great gadgets to make the stay more enjoyable. There are stunning 180+ views over the Long Mynd valley and you can get lost watching the world go by with only the sound of the wildlife & grazing sheep to break the serene silence. On a clear night the Barn comes into its own, soaking in the hot tub watching the stars float by. Whilst relatively remote (part of its appeal), its only a 30ish minute walk down the hill to Bishops Castle where there's pubs, cafes, an Indian restaurant, and & Co-op. For those after some activity, there's some beautiful and challenging (ie; hilly) running & cycling routes from the Barn. Whilst it is appealing to vegetate in the Barn, it is equally a great base to explore the area situated yards from the England/Wales border. The Brecons and Snowdonia are only 2ish hours away, equally Ludlow is half hour away and there's numerous scenic places to explore both on the Shropshire & Welsh sides of the border. The Barn itself is on the edge of the Shropshire AONB. In short, every time we leave we spend the journey home working out when we can go back - that's got to be all the endorsement you need.

This is perfection from start to finish! The barn is decorated beautifully and makes you feel cozy and right at home! Whatever you may possibly need during your stay - the owners have provided it! And if there is anything missing - they will provide it next time around, which makes them the best and the most caring hosts! The bed is like a cloud and the sheep alarm clock is lovely to wake up to! :D And let me also tell you about the hot tub and how amazing it is to submerge in this warm bliss and gaze at the stars! My husband and I discovered it by chance and cannot wait to come back for our magical Christmas :)Highly recommended!
