We've just had 2 nights here and I have to say, it was pretty amazing! For the price it was FANTASTIC VALUE. We chose here as we wanted to do some walking in the area. The farm itself is part of the Shropshire Way walk and there are many walks directly from the farm.
Toilets and Showers were open as was the kitchen block. The shower/toilet blocks was the best we've ever seen on a campsite! It's mixed gender, 3 big roomy shower cubicle 3 toilet cubicles and 1 accessible toilet/shower. To say these were SPOTLESS is an understatement! The kitchen area, 3 sinks, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer! Outstanding!
The site is attached to a working farm but we didn't experience any noise or disruption. Cows & sheep grazing in the fields and hens round the corner! The field is on a slight slope but is quite even. Fire pits are provided to use for free, you can buy wood etc from them. We couldn't fault the place, we bought some eggs 2 half dozen and they were delicious!
On this trip, we chose to stay in thier camping Pod, it was 50/night. King size bed, lights, bedding, towels, kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate! Big built in BBQ, Massive deck, comfy chairs and table, big bench. Absolutely Amazing! Already looking to go back, next time we'll probably camp but the Pod was a lovely change, especially as we had lots of rain!!
