Me and my partner recently stayed at Wolds Edge as a short getaway following our marriage. The lodge was well equipped and perfect for our few days away. What struck us was just how quiet the area is, it was ultimate bliss. The lodge is just a short walk into the village which again is so quiet and everybody is very friendly. We are already plotting a return visit, children free !

Stayed for 2 nights in one of the Shepherd's huts. Fantastic facilities. Having our own bathroom just a stone's throw away was great. Everything spotless, lovely touch having a food hamper too. We came over during a cold snap and the wood burner kept things very warm. You have to pay extra for the wood but you get loads for the money. A single load will get the small space very warm. We walked to the local pub for food one of the nights, probably a 5-10 minute walk away. Lovely idyllic village. Would love to visit again in one of the larger lodges next time.

Perfect every time. Peace and quiet, spotless accommodation, gorgeous hot tub, helpful hosts, beautiful location. Not our first stay and it wont be our last. Thank you for having us again, Ruth.

Very nice break away. Located in a small village, with 1 shop [has what you need, toiletries, snacks, some foods, bread] and 1 pub. Trails to walk around. Stayed in the Honeydale Lodge. Very large, tidy and clean. Jacuzzi was clean and very nice, checked every morning. Bathrobs and towels provided, as well as slippers. Probably the first lodge in the UK I stayed in where the shower doesn't leak through the doors. Not a place for kids, as there's literally nothing for them to do, or teenagers. It's a honeymoon or couples break sort of place. Which is what England is lacking. Fridge had bottle of fresh milk, which was great. There was a thumping sound through the days we stayed coming from a nearby field. It was loud enough to disturb the peace. Not sure if this was building works or other. No noises at night. Note: no door separating bedroom and living room. I would stay again 101%. I will be back in the future.
