We too have used these cowboys. we also have had a fire fitted by them as they advertised that they were HETAS registered, when in fact they were not. We also failed our inspection by the building officer due to insufficient insulation in our loft conversion. We paid in installments as agreed, but they would not issue any certificates despite us paying our final account. At this stage we became suspicious and checked their back ground to discover and web of poor workmanship and unsatisfied customers. Our advise to anyone thinking about using them is to STEER CLEAR!!!!!!

WARNING DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY FIT A FIRE FOR YOU THEY ARE NOT REGISTERED WE FOUND AT OUR COST THE FIRE THEY FITTED FOR US WAS SO BADLY FITTED IT WAS A DANGER TO US AND OUR NEIGHBOURS INFACT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY WORK THEY ARE A HEALTH HAZZARD THEY SHOULD NOT BE TRADING.THEY WERE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM AND TOTALY IGNORED ANY CALLS OR LETTERS TO THEM.YOU DO NOT WANT THESE COWBOYS IN YOUR HOUSE .I HAVE HAD TO PUT 1 STAR TO ALLOW ME TO PUBLISH THEY SHOULD NT HAVE ANY.

Reviewing regarding the issues from JL Properties, small extension and garage conversion. This is a warning to others as we suffered great stress from poor quality of work, leaving the job incomplete and poor safety. Even through we paid on time to their payment schedule, JL Properties demanded final payment before the job was completed or building regulation completed. When we asked for completion they refused to answer calls or emails. we never saw them again. When we got the building inspector to view the property it failed not only on poor building work such as no insulation in the roof and wall cavities and inadequate internal drainage, but most seriously the Gas Safety Check failed and was reported the Gas Safety Board. For us it was a very stressful time and we had not idea it would fail so badly and cost us more to get the certification. JL Properties walked away from the job as they were either too busy or simply did not care as we had paid everything except last 1000.
