We had looked at a few stone masons locally but upon delving seeping into the art of headstones we realised that a lot of them where factory made. We wanted a unique piece of work individually designed to our needs. The minute we walked into Aidens unit we knew we would find it here. He was warm welcoming & very professional. All his work is done by hand which is what we where looking for. From start to finish we where looked after. Aiden himself is a genuinely - caring & compassionate guy who listened to what we wanted whilst giving us his professional advice at a time that we Where filled with sadness. Adrian was one of a number of stonemasons I spoke to when looking to have a headstone for my husband made. Right from the first meeting he impressed me. It was not just that he was keen to do the work but his whole attitude to his work. It was very evidently not just another job. It was evident that the headstones he makes are important to him and were in some way personal to him. He met me a number of times to talk about my husband, helped me choose the stone and style. He encouraged me to change the inscription as often as I wanted to until I was totally happy with it. The end result is beautiful and a fitting tribute to my husband. If you want a job done quickly Adrian is not the man for you but if you want something you are entirely happy with I would highly recommend him.

Ordered a headstone for a stillborn in june 2019, didnt recieve the template for the headstone until september 2019 which was wrong to what we asked for, recieved another 2 which were also wrong, we got the last template and it was finally right, its now the end of november weve tried phoning leaving voicemails etc to secure with a deposit but weve had no reply, decided to go with another company now because the time its taking is just ridiculous when we were first told it would be down by the summer of 2019

My dad passed away in June 2018 in Leicester and his wish was to be buried in Tow Law the place of his birth,and where he met and married my mam,and where his parents and sister are buried. We carried out his wish and found this awesome stonemason named Adrian Hooper. I have never met him as we live in Leicester and he made my dads headstone from our instructions by email and text,and today the stone has been erected,and he sent us photographs of it which I am so pleased with. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Adrian to anybody. He has done a professional job and kept us informed of its progress throughout. He is one skilled craftsman and when I next visit Tow Law again I will be sure to try and meet him and thank him again in person.

I found Adrian to be a very genuine person, honest about his business and passionate about his work. He offers a good quality service and although as a "one man band" he is extremely busy, he still made sure our queries were dealt with as soon as possible. I am very pleased with his workmanship, the personal service we received and the very reasonable price he charged.
