Phoned up about my laptop which had a keyboard issue and was told there would likely be a few days wait until the part came in and it was fixed up. Thought not a problem, I don't want to rush them and they must be busy. They had my mobile and landline number, assumed they'd keep me in the loop about what was going on about it. Checked in about a week later, said that the part was ordered and hadn't arrived yet, was told it would be a couple of days later. Thought ok, they've had it a while now so they'll get to it pretty quickly. A little annoyed that they hadn't let me know about any of what was going on but shrugged it off. Another week goes by, still heard nothing, told it would be a quick fix and heard nothing back at all. Eventually rang them up, they were blunt and unapologetic on the phone about my wait, then just decided to go down, pick it up and take it elsewhere. The young gentleman working wasn't certain about what was going on so it's obvious he wasn't clued up about the situation either. Told if we wanted to wait then it would only be another couple of days before the fix, and by this point I was so annoyed about not being kept in the loop and told mixed stories when I was in the loop, just took it and left. Not only that, but was told that the part that was ordered was shipping the day after which was a Saturday, so I find that hard to believe. All of this would've been avoided if only I had been told about what was going on. I'm a patient person, but if I'm not kept in the loop, then my patience runs out.
