Testimonial for Matthew Lee 18/03/21 Matthew was asked if he could check out the viability of a garage conversion and link to the main house in my quirky shaped space. Joining the garage to the house on different levels and with a diagonal space between garage and house was an ask but he took it in his stride and got the job done. When the basic plan was in place Matthew spent considerable time helping me and my mum look over the diagrams and helped us tweak and plan to meet our needs and showed great patience in doing so. It has been a pleasure to get to know Matthew over the last year while he has been working on design and advising on a new build site. He understood the brief and delivered exceptional designs. Any small alterations that were needed to the plans were done very swiftly and he was always happy to pick up the phone to discuss options. I would (and have) happily recommend Glasper Lee. Matthew at Glasper Lee Design has been absolutely outstanding in all aspects of the Design & Planning Application stages of our first ever Self Build House Project near Barnard Castle. His enthusiasm, hard work, patience, knowledge, wisdom and determination have all played a major part, especially in the successful Planning Application for our new home (which even local Planning Consultants doubted would be approved!). We introduced him to our new next door neighbours who immediately engaged him to act on their behalf with the house design & the Planning application for their own Self Build Project, which progressed to Building Regs plans and is now 50% built. In many ways, we'd like to keep Matthew a secret so he can concentrate on our project and we can benefit from his skills (especially his project Management Skills and hands on experience and the ultra fair pricing) - through to the completion of our build. We are so thankful we chose Glasper Lee Design rather than a "big name" Architectural Company. Our extension is now complete and we are absolutely delighted with it We had been considering extending our property for some time but were not entirely sure what the best way to go about this was. I made an appointment and had an informal chat to discuss some ideas and find out what was possible. Our extension is now complete and we are absolutely delighted with it.
