Oakwell Taxis

Booked local cab through Uber as its arrival was estimated earlier than the Uber taxi. What a mistake this was. The rudest driver I have ever encountered. Serious attitude problem. He shouted at me for trying to open the automatic door. I apologised of course but I dont think shouting at a paying customer is acceptable. He then started questioning me how much Uber was charging me so I said around 20, to which he replied no it says 21.90 here. I thought to myself: I didnt think you wanted me to reiterate the exact price and why are you asking if you already know? I typically couldnt rate this guy on Uber. Probably why he was so rude. Do not waste your money on this company because you might get this guy with a terrible attitude and thinks its okay to shout at his customers.

Got taxi with me an w mates the sleazy old taxi driver touched my female mates leg an we had to get him tk stop early an all 3 of us had to walk the rest of the journey ... despite the poor female having a bad back horrible experience .. stick to bywell

Appalling service, booked a taxi in advance for a specific time and it doesnt turn up. Told on the phone sorry we are busy. Why offer the service if you cannot allocate cars to deliver at that time. Rang 3 times to be told sorry another 5-10 mins, we are busy. So 1.5 hours after originally ordering and 30 mins late for time of pick up!!

Pity I cant give this no stars. Driver left my wife standing in the street in the pitch black on her own because he couldnt find the address. Vulnerable woman and no security. Disgraceful!
