This from a cancer patient The QE Hospital has serious problems, the main being they fob off patients continually. None of their processes, procedures, systems or controls work. Basically almost nothing really works to a level of acceptability. Lack of ownership or responsibility for patients No central point of contact when dealing with multiple teams The Surgical consultants I dealt with were mostly grossly negligent, incompetent & fobbed you off with no intention of doing anything material to help you Complaints process is a sham and corrupt - can take up to a year to respond by which time many patients will be dead - needs to be investigated and reformed There is at least one great Dr called Dr F. Shah (and her dermatology Dept.) The nurses and other support staff do their best but let down by rubbish management and greedy consultants who cream off the private sector whilst neglecting the day job Total scandal- why is no one at the Trust/Hospital acknowledging these reviews and speaking to how they are doing something about the systemic problems that exist there ?!
