Got wonderful service by DEBBIE 26/01/2023 in booking a trip for my friend.
Also, a few weeks ago, made a 3-way call for a friend of mine with mobility issues and ELLIOT helped to register my friend, book his return trip in Birmingham, and answer all the questions with patience and care.
Elliot and Debbie are star and a credit to Ring & Ride. BIG THANK YOU for the non-profit service team.

Today I called to book a trip to my dentist & back, but was told that they no longer provide journeys to surgeries or dentists!!
For a service originally designed to help transport disabled people, with any condition which prevents them from using buses, you'd offer me a journey to bingo if that was what I wanted to do but not to medical appointments??
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what kind of service Ring & Ride now provide. Surely health related journeys rank a little higher than something like bingo?
I'm not criticising trips to bingo etc, just that Ring & Ride seem to have lost their original vision of providing ESSENTIAL journeys for disabled people.
So thank you Ring & Ride for now making me take taxis to health related appointments. Making me more susceptible to infections due to my compromised immune system & the risks involved in taking such public transport mean for me.
Perhaps if the powers that be had a disabled relative who NEEDED this service, your decisions to withdraw such vital services would have been different.
I'm sorry for the rant, but did need to make you see just how much your decisions have affected countless numbers of disabled passengers.
