I completed my foundation and advanced dermal Filler and botox course in January 2023 with The Beauty Nurse Academy. Shanice is very structured, hygenic but most importantly approachable. I just want to say from someone who struggles with confidence & self esteem that this Academy was the best choice I ever made. Both Shanice & her assistant were amazing prior to the course & handled my doubt & meltdowns so well and reassured me I was capable and gave me faith in myself. During the course Shanice was incredible she was so patient and understanding with me, she didn't rush me once everything was at my own pace. Her knowledge on Aesthetics gave me more confidence she explained circumstances from a trainer also from her own personal experiences which made me feel at ease. She is very strict on hygiene which is a must in this industry, she also made sure there was enough models for me to have more of a variety of clients to work on. Since completing my course shanice has been in touch almost every day! She gave me all the information I needed to start in Aesthetics, ever question I have she is always happy to help! I couldn't of asked for any more in a trainer so thankyou very much for making this journey so informative & comfortable for me. I can't wait to come back and train up in more areas. See you soon thankyou again x

I want to say the biggest thank you to Shan & Amanda as they were so respectful and understanding at a traumatic time in my life shortly after booking on to courses. I finally completed the courses January 2023 after a years time. Shan! well where do I start she is an AMAZING,KNOWLEDGEABLE,TALENTED and PATIENT LADY she made sure there were enough models on both days for all her students to be able to practice EVERY area. Her patience is second none if someone were struggle she never stopped until she and they were happy they understood. Here attention is always in the room, she is super hot on her hygiene with herself and students. Shan was just great from the beginning and her passion for her Aesthetics is a true love it shines through. Shan explanations are great and in a way that is understandable but never deterring from the facts of each technique. I felt confident at the end of my training. Lastly the support I have received from Shan after the course is just so reassuring I feel I can do anything as she is ALWAYS there on the end of the phone texts,calls,facetime and even in person she has an open door policy her support doesnt end when you walk out the door, which a big thing when your starting out in the Aesthetics world. Thank you Shan once again I WILL be back for more courses x

In June 2022 I had masseter Botox (jaw slimming) done by Shan and her students which went TRAGICALLY WRONG, it resulted in me not being able to smile for 6 months (including on my own wedding day!!!). I appreciate it is one of the most common risks of this treatment but the lack of care and attention to detail from Shan on the training day was absolutely shocking. As it turned out (and was later explained to me by another expert practitioner), Shans students were injecting large amounts of Botulinum toxin using the wrong landmarks marked on my face by Shan and at a wrong depth which resulted in completely missing the masseter muscle. 1 week later my smile started to droop, became unnatural and I could not open my mouth fully which is when I realised that the risorius muscle (which pulls the corners of the mouth outwards) was completely disabled. I do not think Shan or her students could comprehend how depressed, anxious and traumatised I felt for all this time (and it took me so much courage to even write this review). 6 months later, I am starting to slowly feel myself again and my smile is 90% back again, however, I urge you to look further for a different aesthetics practitioner and/or trainer.
