Veg area I would avoid completely as they are always dried and old...meat is clean and staff are lovely and very helpful... the rest of the store has different things to choose from... main stores staff need a bit of cheering up as they always look as though they don't want to be there, they never smile, it's like they are robots...

It was a big store with more goresey , dishes, food containers, meat area and frozen food. Many more varieties but some groceries were cheaper than other places. I really liked dishes that were cheaper

Due to concerns of Halal food i visit there for the meat and other halal items shopping. There are few other items which I can find in Tesco , Aldi and Asda but they all charge lesser than the green supermarket specially in the month of Ramadan most of the halal shops in Birmingham were charging higher for the items on the contrary Asda Tesco reduced their prices specifically in Ramadan for the community . The clear difference is found who are respectful and who are taking disadvantages during fasting. Those who are increasing rates and providing unhealthy and stale items they should understand that Ramadan is the name of honesty ,patience , control, charity, helping others and above all humanity. The English grocery stores who do not know the definition of Ramadan but they serve their people with full honesty and hardwork but those who are following Ramadan Eid they are misusing and making extra money , very disappointing and This supermarket and most of the Halal supermarkets in Birmingham are following the same pattern . Very expensive, low quality and low standards of service.
