I have bought Chocolate choux buns nearly every week 2 for 90p. Today they were 1.75. I questioned it with one of the assistants. He said the price was right. I refused to pay it. The same buns are nearly 1 cheaper at Sainsburys.
I have noticed prices jumping up for a long time and have been buying elsewhere at greatly reduced prices. Needless to say I will no longer be food shopping at Tesco Express
