The welcome was lacking as we stood waiting for about 3 mins before anyone came to seat us. They weren't busy, so I felt this was not acceptable. The service at the table was also very slow, we sat there waiting for 10 mins before they asked if we wanted drinks, and I slipped on a dirty knife that was under the table, they said the cleaner must have missed it this morning! The carpet was not very clean under the table either. The food when it eventually arrived was really nice, presented well and tasty. The atmosphere was lacking. Maybe lunches are quieter than dinners but overall meal great but service not on par.

Hmm where to start....on a positive waiting staff were good. The kids meal came out with fries which were that over cooked they were literally like cardboard zero potato inside ny child couldnt chew them Secondly several items i ordered i had to ask for...like they had 'forgotten'. We ordered 4 meals the 4th meal came out and we were almost done the other meals. It wasnt busy...but service was very very slow which is why we lft to get dessert somewhere else as the thought of waiting ages again was like forget it lets go. And the gluten free menu is quite pathetic...ice cream for dessert not very inventive. Nothing like my local Bentley Green which is fantastic! Wont be visiting the hagley road one again.
