    We recently visited Grillz Steakhouse restaurant on Ladypool Road and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We wanted to order the Lamb Ribs Stack which was out of stock, but we were surprised to find that the Lamb Ribs were available as a starter. We ended up ordering the Lamb Ribs for starters along with Mixed Olives. For mains, we ordered Chicken Parmesan with mash and Ribeye Steak with mash and fries. However, the food took an incredibly long time to arrive. When the starters finally arrived, we were disappointed to find that the plate was only half full of ribs and the rest were chops that had been mixed in. Additionally, the Mixed Olives were supposed to come with feta cheese, but there was no feta to be found. Upon complaining to the waiter Shahid, who provided exceptional service, he apologised and decided not to charge us for the Mixed Olives. To make matters worse, when the mains finally arrived, the Chicken Parmesan was cold and barely edible. However, since we were so hungry and didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for a new dish, we didn't bother complaining. It's worth mentioning that we noticed other patrons coming in and ordering food, and they were served much faster than we were. The Ribeye Steak we ordered was supposed to be cooked medium, but it was served medium rare. While we don't mind medium rare, we do think it's important to serve dishes as they were ordered. Overall, the taste of the food was great, regardless of whether it was served hot or cold. However, the slow service and issues with the dishes were a major downside to the experience. We appreciate the exceptional service provided by Shahid, but unfortunately, we do not see ourselves returning to Grillz Steakhouse in the future.

    Curry was ok what I was unhappy about was how small the naan was they charge 1.55 for a tiny naan felt ripped off why spoil everything by scrimping on flour?

    After reading the online reviews, I went there with my daughter and nephew to celebrate their results but we all were disappointed with the lack of service, unhelpful waiter and poor quality of food for the price. Despite being on crutches, waiter took us upstairs for table, didnt ask if ok to climb stairs. Didnt check if ok to wait for downstairs table to become free. I had to ask 4 times to get some water, initially requested water when sat down at the table. The smoke from the grills made me feel sick and dry throat. Waiter didnt bother nor apologised when I asked for the water after completing our meal. Its like he had to put effort to go to the river seven to get my daughter. When we ordered food, no offer of helping choose whats best or recommendations, no drinks or dessert menu. I had to prompt him for the drinks. No conversation to check how customers doing. He said he was too busy so forgot my water, no apology. The steak was so dissatisfying, there were hard and lots of jelly bits, very tough to cut into. The portion size too small, dry packet salad, should have been in house freshly made salad. Had to go to the till to pay, no one to bring the bill. Poor customer experience. Left feeling upset and wasted money. never go back and will never recommend
