Enjoyed the meal, staff are friendly and attentative(sometimes a bit too much). Food was tasty. Only reason for giving a four star because we asked for the main to come out after starter was finished. Waitress said it all comes out at the same time when cooked. I asked if we can order starter first then main separately?. She assured us it will come separately and put a note on the order. The main came out while we were half way eating stater. This meant the food was warm and roti was cold by the time we ate the main. Also the table didn't have enough room, we were on a small table for 2. I would still go back, but will order separately next time.

Arrived at the restaurant only to be met with blank faces regarding our booking, after much checking, showing staff our booking confirmation and being treated like we were in the wrong and no apologies we were pointed at a table with a "well you can have that one" as if they were doing us the biggest favour, we were made to feel very awkward, unwanted and uncomfortable. The table we ended up on was next to the front door which didn't close properly and the wall corner being held together by tape. We ordered one of the main dishes and two smaller plates plus a bread to go with them. the food arrived and of the two lamb koftas in the bowl one was still pink and cold in the middle, when we raised this they tried to say it should be like that but this was not the case across the two identical items in the dish, they returned this to the kitchen and they managed to provide a fully cooked meatball in less than 5 minutes (the menu states "Please note our dishes are made fresh to order so there is a minimum of 20 minutes from ordering to service" this is clearly not the case! We managed to be seated, ordered, eaten, table cleared and paid within 30 minutes, including sending one dish back! ) The food in general was bland, the black dhal was very watery and the service very poor, there are certainly many other options for better food and service.
