Received the usual letter informing me that the half yearly service charge was due, which was 500 to be paid in one month's time. Then a week before the payment due date I received a second letter informing me the charge is now 800. Apparently an oversight. The costs are becoming far too high and notice of payments far too short. I will be paying close attention to the service charge and will consider using sections 10 and 11 of the summary of tenants rights to be sure that the financial management of the premises is above board.
