Ignore bad reviews for Principal Homes. I am on my 3rd property with Asib and his team now. I would never use another agent now. They are so friendly and helpful. Asib in particular will go the extra mile for you. I am quite a fussy tenant, but Asib always deals with any issues with a smile, even though he is a very busy man. There is no question of them withholding deposits. I have always had mine back within days. He will work with you and tell you what is required when you leave a property for the next tenant, not just keep your deposit from you. Unlike other Letting Agents I have dealt with (quite a few), he wants to be fair to both the landlord and tenant. I never leave reviews, but feel that all Asib and his team have done deserves some recognition.

Went to view a lovely property yesterday (13/03/2023) at 13:20 and was told by the agent to ring up to put in an application. We rung at 16:00 the same day and they said theyd ring us back today (14/03/2023) to arrange the application. We heard nothing, rang them today and they said the landlord had already accepted a tenant application before receiving all of them. Absolutely zero communication and professionalism from the letting agents who were extremely rude to my partner on the phone and 30 wasted in Ubers getting to the property only to be ignored by the agents.

I found a property (rent) and asked to view, an appointment was booked. After calling back no less than 4 times to get the address of the property a woman rudely told me it was online, though the door number wasn't online hence my call. After viewing the property, I wanted to make an application. Instead of allowing me to apply the agent tells me the Landlord wants to put it back on the market for more viewings. I asked if the Landlord wanted more money, or if there were any issues with me and the lady told me she doesn't know because she hasn't spoken to the Landlord. In Summary: 1. Wasted my time and money going on viewing 2. They are rude to speak to 3. No effort to find a property for me or to find out if a deal could be reached. I felt like I wasn't the right tenant because of my race and I certainly will be following this up with the ombudsman. My household makes over a 100k a year and our credit is great but they still asked me if I had a guarantor. They probably wern't aware I was going to pay the full 6 months in advance but hey their loss not mine. Stay away from these agents, what they did today was illegal and I will take this further.

Never do business with them, turn the other way and find s different estate agent they are dishonest people

Dirty estate agent filled with rats in suits. Will steal your deposit for most smallest things and never contactable and will never carry out repairs Stay away form these rats
