KJC Property Consultants

Avoid this company at all costs. As "property consultants" they took money from every new householder on our development and did absolutely nothing in return. They then requested payment for the subsequent year and it became a complete wall of silence when residents demanded to know how the previous year's money had been spent. Failure to answer emails and worst of all, failure to provide financial documentation as to where our money was. We have a right to this information as Directors/Members of our own residents' company. A typical example, they invoiced us 500 for the year for 3 low energy street lights when an electricity meter doesn't even exist. I could leave all my lights on permanently in my house and it wouldn't cost this much. I suspect that Kevin has taken our money intended to pay for services and used it to pay his own wages, and if true, this would amount to theft. How any "professional" company can act in this way is beyond me. A complete disgrace. We gave Kevin every opportunity (2 x 1 hour Zoom calls with all residents invited) to put things right but I suspect he's dug himself in so deep he doesn't know how to get out of the mess he's created. A complete shambles.

In brief, Kevin took the money from a residents management scheme and has disappeared. We never heard a single word of relevance come from him during his "management" time, and he seemed completely out of his depth. Having taken our money he has neither accounted for the money that has disappeared, nor has he even acknowledged nor responded to requests to explain the disappearance of the money. On top of that he hasn't even acknowledged or responded to the ensuing complaint, or allowed us details of the company's complaints procedure. We shall be pursuing him via all professional and legal/court routes to obtain a fair settlement and justice. He's a fraudster.

I have known Kevin Cooper for many years and have always been impressed by his work ethic and values. Over the last 2 years I have worked with him and his colleagues to review their operations and relationships, both internal and external. I also specifically reviewed his attempts to work with one completely dysfunctional set of clients, at considerable cost to his business and his staff. Kevin's high values were such that he remained totally reluctant to end the contract, despite several false and malicious complaints. From my detailed observations, KJC are well led, well managed, highly principled and extremely competent. Their financial probity has been endorsed by several external authorities and I can recommend them with total confidence. As a person, Kevin is honest, trustworthy and reliable and constantly seeks opportunities to improve both himself and the service he gives.

I have worked with the KJC team for many years. They have been fantastic in managing our properties and taking care of the tenants needs. Their service and professionalism ensure that I do not have to worry about anything. They have always been at hand to provide guidance and advice whenever I have needed it.
