In my personal opinion, I have found the service provided (or not provided) by Workman LLP's Birmingham Office very poor. I have emailed and left phone messages with the surveyor responsible for the estate where we have an office numerous times and he simply does not respond (for over two months now!). This really does not reflect well on the company.

The regional facilities managers at this office have no respect for their contractors. Having a contract with Workman isnt worth the paper its written on because the regional facilities managers dont respect the notice period. Theyre disturbingly ignorant of TUPE regulations. They think they can ignore the contracts notice period (absurdly giving less than 24 hours notice) and award it to some other company. Our staff go above any beyond for Workmans regional facilities managers. But this is not reciprocated. Constantly changing demands (invoice the client, no invoice us, no why are you not invoicing the client directly) its insane. Any miscommunication is treated like its World War III.

These folks manage our offices in Redditch. Barry Flint whom is our point of contact fails time and time again to close out any issues. He also struggles with honesty and transparency. If you are looking at taking a lease managed by these people and especially this individual I suggest you think again. We have had numerous issues with the compliance of the building with regard to fire regs, a leak coming through our roof for nine weeks and plenty of issues with parking. Never an honest answer or timely resolve offered. Avoid at all costs
