I have the good fortune to have found a superb chartered physiotherapist in Harborne, namely Marian Dowd. Facing a probable operation on my knee, I tried Marian in the hope of delaying the inevitable. She has been amazing, in that her treatment, which involves a range of options, including acupuncture, has given me pain relief and moved the thought of an operation into the future. She is holistic in her approach and takes time to understand you as a person so that she knows how best to help you maintain the improvements in your condition. Marian explains what is causing the problem so that you can appreciate why the exercises she recommends will work. Marian always gets back to me promptly when I leave a message and she makes every effort to arrange an appointment as soon as possible. Her charges are very reasonable and she never makes me feel rushed but gives me the time I need. I have recommended her to all my friends. Tricia Le Gallais
