The groomer is a nice lady and polite but I don't feel my dogs got a good groom here. Firstly, they were there All Day, 9am-4pm! I called at 3pm to see if she was OK as I have never had a groomer take my dogs for that long in the past. She still hadn't finished when I picked them up! My sheltie looked terrible.. Everyone was shocked and said I shouldn't have paid for her. She had never been groomed before and her hair was uneven and too short including her tail and chest. I had asked for a trim and tidy up around her feet and backend. My shi tzu has been groomed before and she looked less than half done, her face wasn't done (hair still left in her eyes and face still long), her claws were not clipped and her coat was still long when usually she has it short (I had asked for this specifically). Again the cut was quite uneven. I appreciate that she is new at this and likes to take her time with the dogs so to be gentle but to me it felt like I'd wasted my money (60 for the 2) and I was quite disappointed. 3 weeks later ive taken my shi tzu for another groom and her nail has ingrown and needs medical treatment now as they have been left too long.
