I found James when I was looking for a PT to help me get fit for a major operation. James was brilliant and built me up from struggling with a one minute 'run' to around 4k on our last session. The next day was my op and I woke up, donned my kit and smashed a 5k run; I went to hospital feeling completely invincible and I'm sure it is this positivity that aided my speedy recovery. I love running on my own, it is my time and space in an otherwise hectic day, but I needed help with motivation as I had given up following my first C25K success and needed a bit of encouragement to get back into it - James was excellent. He knew when and how to distract my fatigued brain to help me stick with each increasingly longer run and I still use these mental queues now. James has a wide breadth of knowledge about all things fitness so the sessions were never tedious and I'm hoping to start again soon to work on speed and hill training. Five stars!
