I've been going to Tylers for around 36 years and always found them very professional and helpful....until the last time I went. Let's just say I won't be going there again.

This opticians used to provide good service under the ownership of Alan Tyler. Sadly, he has sold it. Now, these opticians are awful. They lack sensitivity when dealing with elderly patients, especially when carrying out the diabetic eye screening. There's a young Indian optician, I think he's called Vikram. He lacks professionalism and customer service. He has a very 'woody' personality (reminds me of Liz Truss). No wonder our healthcare is in such a bad state. This guy is comparable to a work experience student who has lost the will to live. Not sure if he is a locum. We have just received a letter saying the images he took cannot be seen clearly. Therefore, we have to take our 86-year-old mother, who has mobility issues, again! needs to be on a performance plan. I shall report him to the OCCS. What an utter, incompetent 'optician!' Such people should not practise in this profession. Move aside and let someone else, who is more dedicated, to conduct this task.
