Hi I'm a parent at bright swans nursery, my daughter has recently started with them in Jan. I must say they are most loving and caring staff u would like for your children. I honestly would say don't take my word you need to give them a visit they are supportive and helpful, the director herself is always involved with children in their learning she's the most calm and friendly person you can talk to.

Right of the bat, the director is a very rude person, her approach isnt very good and her aura shows how greedy she is. The setting itself is disgusting everything is a load of TAT! Second-hand, used items. Plastic and fake equipment. The rooms are good sized however, very very dirty claustrophobic feeling. The environment just looks way too busy! The children didnt look engaged at all and the staff shout and the children and I witnessed them putting children on a naughty chair! Absolutely shocking! The garden is beautiful and have lovely equipment for children to play with. Its also quite big, which was nice. They also have a sensory room which was ideal for children who needed some time out of their busy learning day. I also noticed the stair gate going into one of the toddler room was broken, which doesnt surprise me as everything looked tacky and run down anyway. I was also shown the kitchen which was as if it was the 90s!! Dust everywhere. Very very old oven and kitchen equipment! Absolutely appalling!! Felt the need to then wear a mask! When asked about the food that was served, everything was frozen meals!!! The children are not getting any nutritional meals! Shocking!! Also, theres only 2 staff members and 1 manager, which makes me question how they are keeping ratio? The uphill as soon as you come up to the nursery is very difficult to get in and out of especially if you have more than one child. Lets just say, if you dont care about your child, go ahead and send them here, but please read the official OFSTED reports, its a terrible nursery. Even the reports mention inadequate. Needs to be shut down and the director actually needs to put her hand in her pocket and change the place around.

Staff are absolutely the friendliest and most attentive around. They give my son 110% and hes developed so quickly in the time he's spent here. Im really happy with the nursery and the staff as a whole.

My child comes home after a lunch and is starving and cries to eat. And everyday they tell me about the menu without even a hello or any other of his achievements during the day. There's a business policy of a charge of 1/- for every minute that you're late right at 12 pm on the dot. Since September my child only has 2 displays to show for his work and they're mostly in the garden or playing kinetic sand. I went in with high hopes but was disillusioned right after a week. There's an occasional display of day's schedule at home time. Looking for another nursery. Any suggestions?
