After walking around the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham for 2 Saturdays looking for a 50th Birthday present , I have to say Peter was the best by fare . Customer service, Price , competitiveness, He could not do enough to help and advise. Gave us a great deal too. The Wife is more than happy. Cannot recommend Peter enough . A little away from the rush which made it more personal.

I spent a fair while going in and out of shops in the Jewellery Quarter, looking for an engagement ring. Prakash (Peter) at Ultimate Gems was one of the only two jewellers in whom I could really recognise their genuine enthusiasm and passion for their craft (the other being Nigel Lynall at Lynalls). So many shops were fronted by salespeople who seemed as if they could just have easily been working at a furniture shop, all churning out the same limited spiel. Prakash took the time to show me lots of options, was very measured in his approach and was not obviously pushy about a sale at all, unlike many other shops. He encouraged me to go away and come back another day to continue looking, and encouraged shopping around with competitors, explaining that hed match prices. I really enjoyed learning (admittedly very small amounts of a vast topic!) from him, ultimately I went with Nigel Lynall as Id happened to have gone there first, otherwise Id have been very happy to buy from Ultimate Gems. Highly recommend popping in!

What great service! Could not recommend this store enough. Brilliant stock, excellent selection and competitive price. If youre in the jewellery quarter. Birmingham definitely pay a visit.

We visited the Jewellery Quarter a week ago looking to buy earings for a special Birthday for my Daughter and happened to drop lucky on a shop just off Warstone lane, Universal Gems Ltd. we are so pleased we did we were welcomed by a very polite gentleman who introduced himself as Peter.he was very helpful and pleasant he showed us various pairs of earings at different prices and we found a lovely pair white gold with diamonds all we can say is , Peter was more than fair to us and would certainly recommend this shop to anyone.
