Lyons Boatyard

Definitely recommend the boat yard to anyone considering hiring a barge. Staff are really friendly, knowledge and helpful. Great prices and makes for a great day out If you walk the stretch of canal (opposite side) you can you can always pop over and go into the boat yard for a peaceful Pitstop, and grab yourself an ice cream , drink or chocolate lovely little shop with gifts you can pick up for any boat lovers . We had a great day on the boat, the boat well equipped with all we needed

What a great place to moor up with everything you ever need for a Narrowboat, friendly staff, full range of services & a chandlery like Aladdins cave ! Its the only one left in Birmingham so well worth a visit.

Alright customer service, poorly stocked chandlery, well priced diesel. The owner - Gary comes across as a bit of a wheeler dealer. The black country Del boy. There are better places nearby so shop around. But to give them credit, a great place to stop for red diesel with easy mooring near the pump.

We stopped for a pump out and refuel in our holiday hire narrowboat. Very friendly service, life affirming chat, and I'm delighted to have given them our business. Nice ice creams too.
