I can only recommend Germans Autohaus on the basis of my first experience, which was an overall success. 1) Friendly, efficient and flexible service: Knowing my urgency, they found an earlier appointment for me within days (unlike Jardine's Audi centre, which gave me an appointment 5 weeks after I called). 2) Consultative: Listened to my points on the history of the problem and my thoughts on what it could have been based on my own research; asked me questions; suggested to investigate specific areas before embarking on massive and expensive repairs that may not have been needed. 3) Competent and quick: An experienced technician full of common sense (paraphrasing: "In 12 years, I haven't had to change any of these electronic modules because they tend not to go faulty. I think the problem is there or there." And, it was!) identified the problem and was more specific about it than Audi themselves -- he didn't simply rely blindly on what his computer said. Diagnostic and repair carried out within 30 minutes. On the other hand, 10 days before, my car redeveloped its problem within seconds of leaving its parking space (not even the parking lot) at the Jardine's Audi centre, after their technicians told me that they had cleaned a connector that was likely to be the problem and taken 6 hours to "shoot a blank". 4) Cost efficient: The cost of the repair by Germans Autohaus was far less than the 725+ that Jardine's Audi centre wanted to charge me for a part which they didn't know would solve the problem for certain (without offering to reimburse me, if the original part wasn't defective after all and the problem persisted).
