Pathetic service. I was given a different car and it was not cleaned. Really disgusted with the service. Have also asked my company to remove sixt from our portal.

End of June 2022, I booked a Peugeot 208 (or equivalent) at Sixt car rental Birmingham Airport for 1,378. Upon arrival at Sixt, no Peugeot 208 or equivalent available. I was offered a Fiat 500, this car is half the engine size, and a dramatically smaller motor vehicle. Had to pay upgrade for BMW 1 series at a whopping 524 more. Total cost for a few days under four weeks = 1,902. To Sixt, dont offer rentals on cars you dont have. And dont offer non equivalents and more importantly do not upgrade a customer by charging them massive amounts. I wanted to spend 1,378, but Sixt got 1,902 from me. Ridiculous. Not the way to treat customers. 12 days ago this review was posted, immediately Sixt invited me to email them, I did still awaiting a response to my email from Sixt. Update, Sixt refunded me and resolved it all. A great save by Sixt, thanks for your understanding.
