St Giles Care Home

As someone who started at St Giles only 7 months ago, I have never ever been or felt so welcomed, so loved and so protected by all the staff who have taken me under their wing and showered me with the St Giles one family affection. Our residents are just so precious and so special and the motto #onefamily really is prevelant in all that is done. Both residents and staff are always at the forefront of all activities planned and carried out. St Giles is the job I have waited for and I am proud to work for Avery Healthcare! I genuinley cannot see myself being anywhere else or with any other team in fact I have my bed booked ready for retirement!

My mother was admitted very poorly in health and is now flourishing with the help and care from all the lovely staff,Marie on the first floor and John on ground floor give outstanding care nothing is to much bother for them they go above and beyond with the help and care they give can't thank them enough.

This is an excellent care home They have been caring for my dad The staff are all caring Even the management team are the best I have ever met It has been difficult as we couldnt visit due to covid but the joy I got from the manager who has been arranging visits throughout was so caring and supportive and she made our day we have a visit planned and cant wait To the manager and rest of st Giles team you have all been amazing and doing an excellent job throughout the pandemic keeping our loved ones safe a big thank you All too often people are always negative but I have to say no negativity from us Keep up good work St Giles team and well done to the management team for your amazing work

I have worked at st Giles for 2 years and I have never saw such a dedicated team, during the pandemic we have become even more of a family and become the residents families. We have created a dignity box which staff have filled with products like shampoo, denture boxs as some residents come with little or no products.. we really do care and it upsets me when people think we dont care... we treat every resident like we would treat our own family As the clinical lead I am proud to say I work at st Giles I will be here for life Your relatives will be looked after with dignity and care.. thankyou
