        A memorable, educational experience. Learning about construction, materials, and the cost of higher grade shoes. Simon was helpful and full of knowledge in discussing all this, as well as lasts and aftercare. Thoroughly recommended over any cheap high street 'quick fix'. Spend more money, and get something that will last you for years. Three times the cost, ten times the longevity.

        Exemplary service in this store! Simon helped me find the right size for the right shoe, came up with so many solutions, tips, and advice. He was really knowledgable on the material properties and of the upkeep of the shoe. Couldnt recommend highly enough!

        Unfortunately I did not get the member of staff's name but she was delightful, accommodating, funny, and just plain nice. I'd said to her I work in retail and we shared some laughs about the current climate. Whist not being forceful she was straightforward, told me everything and anything I needed to know, and was kind enough to tell me the correct way to try on shoes (especially for something of Loake's calibre). Lovely. Quite lovely.
