Field House

My mom was a resident for 6 years at Field House. The manager and her team gave excellent care. The home is efficiently run and the love and care my mom received at the end of her life was second to none. I would highly recommend.

Having visited Field House after hearing very positive personal accounts, we were so impressed by the calm, orderly atmosphere, pleasant surroundings and friendliness of the place that we were confident my father would be happy there. What stands out is the genuine warmth and sense of community amongst residents and staff and the quality of care and personal relationships. Everybody seems to understand and enjoy their role, and this creates a secure, happy environment. Attentive, professional and affectionate, Rebecca and her staff made my fathers stay a very pleasant one, surrounded by good humour and love. Nothing was too much trouble. Response to any issue was prompt and efficient, and communication with us could not have been better. There is nothing institutional about Field House; it feels very much like a home from home.

I looked round Field House care home with a view for respite or permanent care for my 96 year old mother. Rebecca the owner spent a lot of time asking questions about my mother, trying to get a real view of the person. Looking around I was impressed by the way the residents were so at ease with the staff and vice versa. The communal spaces were buzzing and the rooms I saw were lovely. I had looked around a couple of other homes and as far as I am concerned none of them came close to the feeling of community , and family and genuinely caring attitude that I saw at Field House.

Lovely home staff are really caring and manager is exceptional. She works so hard to get it right and has made this home a wonderful place to live xx
