The service provided during my admission was amazing. Staff were attentive and approachable. I would recommend Priory Woodbourne Oak ward to family and friends if treatment was required

I was on mulberry ward, the staff were amazing, although the agency staff didn't seem to care but that was very rare, but after having incidents I was left one staff member in particularly helped me a lot with my anxiety and drew things to help me cope with it, the patients got along and was a good atmosphere they attended very well to all mental health problems and some of the 1:1 sessions are really good

I was on mulberry ward for just under 14 months. There are good things as well as a lot of things that need to improve. Positives: - genuinely kind and caring perm staff (Lillie, Katie, Dannii, Panashe & Sabrina) - OTs offer groups for sensory exploring as well as community skills and assessments. - my experience of social work and psychology was amazing. (Eleanor & Mariam) - advocates come onto the ward multiple times a week and social work make sure you are offered one. Negatives: - There has been multiple issues with patient abscontion and staff not properly keeping keys secure. - Whilst I was on the ward there was issues with unlawful restraints and IMs (this has been dealt with) - agency staff members allowing access to restricted items putting patients at serious risk. - obs not being done properly putting patients at serious risk. - negative comments by staff towards patients about either mental or physical illness. All issues regarding obs not being done properly, issues with keys, restricted items and unkind staff are dealt with properly by some of the nursing staff. I am thankful overall as some of the staff on mulberry ward genuinely helped me up from rock bottom and we're always incredibly supportive, however there needs to be a change in their ways to keep patients safe and use of restraints and forced medications.
