I have had a very positive experience at oaktree connect. I went for advice from a psychiatrist due to not been able to see one in a timely fashion through the NHS. All my contact has been online via a video link. I saw Dr Meetu Singh, she is a nice lady who took time to listen and has been thorough in assessment. I have since had an ADHD assessment. No issues with medication and prescriptions. I have not had any issues, admin have been quick to reply to any concerns. Only downfall is its expensive but no more than any other private provider and my gp has declined shared care.

My TMS treatment has helped me free myself from regular depression medication. It was lengthy but not too time consuming, and the headaches are manageable.

Do not use!! Stolen money. Would give zero stars if I could, long read-apologies! Booking the online assessment was relatively easy, however from there everything went down hill. The doctor diagnosed me and told me he would have the written diagnosis with me within the week, which I needed for university support and for my employer. After a week of waiting, I rang the clinic multiple times to be told the doctor would get it to me asap. One month and four phone calls later I received this. Then I was told I was unable to have medication until Id had my blood pressure done, why I wasnt informed of this in the month of waiting was never answered. I then ordered medication through the company Oaktree used, and was told my medication would be delivered next day. Two weeks and four phone calls later my medication was delivered. It had apparently been sent to the wrong patient. In December of last year I booked a follow up appointment to discuss meds with my doctor. Unfortunately the doctor had left oak tree two weeks before I made my appointment, however I wasnt informed and sat waiting for half an hour, and was charged in full for the appointment. Nobody even contacted me to see how the meds were working, which is absolutely necessary and expected, especially when paying private. After approximately 4 emails and three phone calls from me I was asked to have a meeting with the director. The director assured me that I would receive a refund- this is still yet to happen, four months later they still have not reimbursed me the 100+ I paid for the appointment. I was also told by this company that I would be able to be transferred to my GP under shared care, I should have checked however I trusted the private doctor knew best. I was later informed that the meds I had been prescribed were not available on the NHS, therefore I would have to be put back on the NHS waiting list (had already been waiting 1.5 years). My advice would be- pay the extra and use a reputable company. Going through mental health difficulties is only exacerbated by this company who have (in my experience) absolutely no care for their patients. The disorder I have means I have difficulties advocating for myself, and making appointments. They have no doubt worsened my mental health and have now left me without medication, back in the waiting list, and 100 out of pocket. Overall I spent 900 to be left worse off than before I interacted with them.
