Iron King Gym Equipment

I bought a flat weight bench from Iron King, I am very discerning, I am delighted. The quality is fantastic, very solid and stable, very fit for purpose, good solid engineering and I am very happy it was made in the UK. Every detail of the construction is perfect, the finish on the frame is excellent, the welds are nice and neat and importantly the cushion pad is firm enough to give support but has just the right amount of give to be comfortable. Good support from the makers over the phone, the phone was always answered promptly on several occasions.

good quality rack. But very bad customer service. Received a bill from customs and looked for a solution. Then it apparently became too difficult and they stopped responding to several emails and stay ignore me. Even now it has been resolved with customs that I had to go after myself for weeks. They have done nothing. Very unfortunate, because the quality of what I received is good.

Ordered rack, spotter arms and adjustable bench November and it arrived end of January, returned February. The items do not match the description/pictures on the IK site and are poorly manufactured. The quality of the items was extremely poor and I would not trust for lifting. Some of the issues included the front seat pad fitted wonky the the bench and has a massive 8-9cm pad gap (the tape measure body alone is 7cm in the pic), being 140cm long and not 120 cm as per the website, cheaper pad to that in the description etc. The spotters were extremely disappointing with 3mm plastic poorly fitted (advertised at 5mm), screws proud and wonky, and questionable welds on the pins (or just lack of weld). I didn't even check the rack given the above being so poor. Customer service was extremely poor and there was no apology. Citizens Advice was really helpful to enforce a return and in referring IK to Trading Standards. I've submitted some reviews on the IK site as there are none currently for these items - I wonder if this is because they censor the bad ones.

Real quality equipment and at a fantastic price. Great communication from Henry too, who was very quick to answer any questions I had. Would highly recommend!
