Spoke to Callum after we moved mum into a nursing home. He was exceptionally helpful and was able to assist me with knowing when we should go back to them. No hard sell and a very honest response I will 100% come back to compass as Mums neddd increase.

After being told on several occasions by my husband's care home that it's a waste of time applying for NHS continuing care for him because he would be found ineligible I insisted that they do a check list. This led to him having a full assessment at which he was indeed found to be ineligible. It is with regret that I did this on my own. If I'd asked Compass to help me at this stage I am confident that we would have had a positive outcome. Instead I asked Compass to help me appeal. They literally just took all the worry away from me. It took 19 months to appeal and get a result. I would strongly advise anyone to ask Compass for help right at the beginning of the process. At the initial informal appeal the CHC representative wasn't in a position to be able to overturn the decision. It then went to a more formal appeal with a panel. The advocates both Kofi and Sarah put over my husband's case in such a way that the panel could not deny that he had a primary health care need. I wholeheartedly recommend Compass. I found everyone I dealt with to be very professional and highly knowledgable and realistic regarding the whole minefield of the CHC process. Their preparation in collating evidence to support their arguments was exemplary. I couldn't have achieved this on my own and would recommend anyone starting out on this process to get help from the outset. It is well worth the fees.

My bed ridden elderly dementia ridden father had been playing 1700 PER WEEK to live in 24 hour care. I had never heard of NHS Continuing care and nor was it offered to us until at a very late stage after spending thousands of my dad's hard earned money. They help prepare your case and I hired them to attend our meeting which resulted in a POSITIVE outcome! I am also going to hire them to see if my father can claim any of the money back he has paid.

The service from Compass was excellent throughout, very responsive and highly professional. We had to take the case, for CHC funding for my mum, to NHS Tribunal on appeal where Compass secured a successful outcome thanks to their advocate who presented our case faultlessly. They were relentless in pursuing the case over an extended period. Thank you so much for securing the outcome which made a huge difference to my dad and our family.
