First time visiting and what a lovely experience. The vibe is chilled and laid back. I loved the music and the food was served fast and tasted amazing. The potions were really good sizes and the waitresses were super attentative. I particularly liked the cocktails, which had jerk spices around the rim of the glass. What a different, unique touch to their cocktails. I can't wait for my next visit.

Me and my Wife went here on Saturday, we had a lovely afternoon and our waitress Haneefa was absolutely lovely and looked after us throughout. The food was beautiful, the music was great although just a bit loud as i found myself having to shout a bit while eating but that wouldn't put me off. I'll be returning and have already recommended to my colleagues and friends. Thanks for a lovely afternoon guys. Dean and Natalie

Not the best first time experience. Ive heard people raving about Jamaya for a while now so when my friend suggested going after not seeing each other for over a year I was excited. When I arrived I stood at the front desk for 4 minutes before the bouncer came over and went straight to the guests behind me.. he rectified this when he went to get the manger and alerted him that I was there first. I was then told it would be 30 mins wait for a table (lots of empty tables around but probably book which is understandable) but was invited to the bar to get a drink before hand. I looked through a sticky menu and picked the drink I wanted to order and then closed my menu which usually indicates someone is ready to order. I over hear the people next to me (the ones behind me at the front desk) get asked if they were ready to order drinks.. at this point they were still looking through the menu.. the bar lady looked over at me and had to tell another bar tender (discretely but not enough) to take my order. My drink came and the glass had lipstick on the sides and other bits of gross dirt. I used a straw. After my friend arrived, we waited around 5 minutes (making it to about 10 minutes from when I arrived) before being shown to a table that had been empty since I got there but the tables were not set correctly at all. Just a napkin and a fork. The chair was extremely wobbly but I figured they were all the same so didnt switch them or say anything. Everything from there was fine hence the 2 stars. When the food arrive it was sort of just handed to us. We had to make a swap. I ordered the fried chicken with rice and gravy. The chicken was nice and cooked well but theres no way that rice was cooked fresh In a pot! More like tilda Caribbean rice and the gravy ruined the entire dish! Can we stop claiming jerk gravy please? Its too much! It also had a layer of skin on the top as of it had been sat waiting for over 20 minutes which was very off putting (see photos). The coleslaw had far too much sauce in it and tasted like m&s finest. It also had a sprinkle of something on top which was not noted on the menu. Not once did someone come over to ask if everything was ok until we were finished. Not to mention, we had to ask for knives. We ate what we could and decided it was toilet break time. This was really the deal breaker for me! Ive never turned away from a toilet in my life but I could not bring myself to use such an untidy and gross bathroom (See pictures). By the looks of it, the toilet had not been inspected/cleaned all day. There was tissue all over the floor and sides and no bin, the toilets seats were soaked and the floor was as if someone and tipped mop bucket water all over it. It was horrific! I left the toilet without using it and we got the bill and left to go elsewhere. For my first experience here, I was highly disappointed! Dont think Ill be going there again unless they heavily improve on the hygiene and the customer service.
