Sweet chilli takeaway, delivery and service has gone down hill. Our family have been ordering here for a while and never had a problem until now. The first bad experience, the food came 30mins late and the food was cold. We thought okay one off. They have never let us down before, and respectfully gave the benefit of the doubt! Second time (back to back) we ordered online using their own site, after having an email confirmation on the order. 1hr 20mins later no food, we called up and apparently they have not received our order. We tried to explain to the gentleman on the phone, but he had a chip on his shoulder, not being very helpful and telling us that hes in a middle of a three person conversation and very busy, and will try to deliver but will take 30-40 mins. Understandable its busy, but poor poor service and no one should have more than 1 conversation when youre dealing with a customer. Another hour later. No food, we called back to see an update on the food. Been told its on the way and should be 5mins. Fab! 10mins later, still no food, called up and to hear the driver is 10mins away. We put a complaint in, the person on the line was very very rude shouting back, the manager then came on, we explained the last time the food arrived it was cold, the manager said and quoted its a takeaway service, what do you expect We really had to fight for our food. Not impressed, let us down twice (back to back) we will not be coming here ever ever EVER again. At the end we got pizza from OneStop.

What very poor service. Where do I start! Ordered online 5.30pm and had confirmation by email with a order number, waited 1hr 10mins and called restaurant to see where my order was only to be told by a very rude waiter which we were on a 3 way conversation they had no order from us. We ordered again on the phone and was told 30 to 40 mins. After we had placed the order only to be told by the same rude waiter that it would be 1hr. 1hr 15mins no food so rang them again. This time told that the driver had just left with our order ok fine. 20mins later no food rang them back only to be told driver 10 -15mins away. I said that our food will be cold by the time it gets here, the waiter said what do you expect its a take away service. I complained got the manager and he said, we are very busy and if your food turns up cold pop it in the microwave. I have use these for while now and never had a problem till last time. Our food turned up cold, but I thought give the benefit of the doubt, but now after this experience, and the way I was treated on the phone and spoken to. I shall never order from this restaurant again, and I advise anybody Else go elsewhere for an Indian takeaway?

Went to sweet chillies on Saturday 8th April, to celebrate my husband birthday with family and friends. Great food, great service and a great night had by all.
