One of the best experiences weve ever had in a hotel. This property is simply stunning, even more impressive in person than in the pictures. Its an old castle with a history and renovated, but kept stylish interiors. It reminds me of a museum, but a very cozy one. Our room was perfectly warm in winter, the bed was delightfully soft and the bathroom pretty spacious. We didnt spend much time there however, as the most impressive part is the lobby and dining area. Breakfast was amazing as well, I loved the variety of options. Starting with a classic English breakfast with great hash browns, finishing with fresh fruits that were juicy and had a lot of flavour even in march. I would love to come back to this hotel, preferably in summer to enjoy its beautiful surroundings.

Booked this hotel for a work event in Solihull. Perfect location and a beautiful looking hotel. Upon arriving drove up to the car park, parked and checked in. Reception was extremely helpful and offered restaurant suggestions. We had 5 rooms resevered in total, mine was the smallest of the rooms but was adequate. The room had everything that was needed, including an ironing board, iron, hairdryer and tea making facilities. Room was extremely clean and warm. Bed was wonderfully comfortable but the pillows weren't to my liking. But changed them without any problems. Very fluffy and generous sized towels and a large shower with great selection of complimentary toiletries. We had a drink in the bar lovely area with huge chairs and sofas, bar area was busy as you'd expect. Great offers on cocktails with two for 10 We didn't eat at the hotel we ate at a nearby restaurant upon return made most of the cocktails and stayed in the bar until midnight. It was still busy. The night porter was fantastic and advised he would set up a table for breakfast in the morning so our group could sit together. Returning to my room it was quite noisy with a large group playing the piano and having fun. This didn't keep me awake or stop me falling asleep immediately. Had a great night sleep hot shower the following morning. Arrived for breakfast at 8am. Sat together Breakfast was unfortunately very average, but the waiting staff were great. They served teas coffee and juice and brought toast to the table. Plenty of fresh fruit cereal and a few pastry options. Cooked breakfast was a buffet style, it tasted quite soggy like it had been sitting out for a while.
