I recently stayed at a hotel near the NEC Birmingham and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of both the NEC and the airport, making it an ideal choice for travellers. Additionally, the hotel featured its own pub, offering a great place to relax and enjoy a meal after a long day. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in need of comfortable and convenient accommodations in the NEC area. The staff was very helpful.

I stayed in a single room here for several days while going to a convention at another hotel near the NEC. It was clean, good water pressure in the shower, and the person staffing the hotel was friendly. I was offered fresh tea and milk etc and housekeeping every day though didn't take them up on it. I did not buy the breakfast so I can't vouch for or against it. It's worth knowing that if you're thinking "this doesn't seem that close to the NEC", then you're right. If you do not have a car then you will need to take a taxi if you don't want to be at the whims of public transport. However considering the price of the hotel reflects the distance it's not that bad - just set your expectations accordingly. I do think you could walk it, but it's a long way by foot and in the end I didn't try. I have seen some reviews that claim the hotel is a house and not a hotel. This isn't true. It's obviously a hotel from the inside and outside, it just isn't shaped like a brick. I can kind of understand how it might give that impression, and it's possible that it was converted at one point or another, but nothing about the size or layout of the building implies "house". If you are from a place with more hotels of this type then you will recognise what it is. Overall, staying here was a positive experience and good value for money.
