I excerpt it's a lottery when going to a new salon however you want the staff to be professional. Lack of training and customer service sadly lacking by my hairstylist...... never again.

A male trainee and a female who seemed slightly more experince worked on my hair. The wash was okay, she was talking him though washing etc. I was okay with that but as a courtesy it would be good to say a trainee will be working on your hair.
He was left to detangle my hair alone. He did not detangle my hair properly, I had to explain to him how to detangle correctly. When she came back to blow-dry, my hair was difficult to work with because it had still not been detangled. She tried to blow-dry my hair, so I suggested she do it in sections... At some point she commented that it may be due to the colour on my hair, which it just a small patch (i.e. rather then his poor detangle job) I then suggested I would detangle and blow dry my own hair. I started sections whilst she tried to blow dry. She still didn't know how to manage my hair, I was concerned that she didn't know what she was doing. Soon after I decided that I didn't want to continue as I didn't trust what they were doing.
They were polite and seemed to be trying but if I am paying for a service which you profess to provide it really isn't good enough.
When I decided to leave she wasn't apologetic, she seemed a little annoyed and didn't see me out, as the door needed to be unlocked.
I will mention, because it is important, that neither of the stylists were African-Caribbean and being a Caribbean woman coming to a salon which professes to specialise in our hair texture(s) it is disheartening to find that yet again it could not cater for me or my natural hair.
It is also important to mention that I went to Fly Girls because a stylist called Bianca straightened my hair a few years back. I left having a good experience and my hair suffered no damage. This time it was far from that.
Who manages this salon, has the management changed or just stylists?"
