We didn't think we would be using moms pre pay plan within a year of buying it, but it was so nice to see the same staff at the branch to help us put the finishing touches to moms funeral. Clare was so down to earth and kind as were all of the team who I spoke to. Communication was excellent and I trusted them from day one. Everything went like clockwork on the day- even down to the weather and we will happily continue to use the COOP in the future.

We recently used this Hawthorne branch to arrange mom's funeral. From day 1 Claire went above and beyond for us, she's caring, compassionate, professional and amazing at her job. We as a family felt as ease knowing mom was so well looked after whilst in the co ops care. Every part of the arranging process was made so much easier with Claire by our side guiding us through step by step. Holly another member of the team also went above and beyond and was always so caring and happy to help in anyway she could. We can't thank you all enough for everything through the hardest time of our lives and we'll never forget it. Thank you The Ollerenshaw family.

Visited this branch this week and collected my mother's ashes. Holly and Marie are professional, very patience, caring and showed great empathy and good listeners too. I have used this branch's for my family over the years and even though staff change. I have always found they are a very good team and provide a caring organised service.

Used this branch of the Co-op last year to organise a funeral, and Lorraine was the lady who I spoke to. She was patient, friendly, empathetic and very knowledgeable and professional. She made a difficult situation a lot easier, especially during ever changing rules for covid for funeral attendance. She organised a non religious speaker for us, who was lovely and gave a great eulogy, communication was great and she gave a great speech. She helped us organise the flowers from Joanne's florists next door, and had them arrive before the funeral to go with the coffin due to non mixing of households, so we couldn't traditionally meet and mix in a house before hand and have flowers delivered there. Lorraine also organised the cars and with all the other paperwork and transfer to Chapel of rest there. I cried a few times on the phone but she always had patience and listened. The Co-op is slightly more pricey than some other funeral homes, but well worth it as they are there for you and you don't have to worry about anything. They even kept the ashes afterwards for a while with no pressure to collect as I was struggling with collecting them. Cannot recommend them. enough. Lovely helpful staff, and a godsend in covid lockdown, as I use a powerchair so can't get about independently. We did a lot over the phone as I was sheltering due to health and government guidelines. Been meaning to write this for a while, as credit where credit is due. The office was quiet, calm and easily accessible for a wheelchair. I rang when I was outside and they helped me in (covid rules) I wouldn't use anywhere else.
