When my mum passed away I contacted the Co-op in Stirchley as she had a prepaid funeral plan with them. Sophie was appointed to look after us, and she was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. She made sure that all our requests were taken care of, and everything was looked after perfectly - very professional but also very personal too, almost as if she knew mum and was taking care of the arrangements for a friend. On the day Simon took care of us and again very professional and respectful - but also like he was taking care of a friend at the same time. I cannot recommend the team at Stirchley enough - Ive never had to organise anything like this before but they guided me through all the way and organised everything just as my mum would have wanted.

My Mum died December and had a prepaid plan nearly 5000 with co op Stirchley there are still lots of hidden costs involved too its been horendous although the lady dealing with me gives all the right noises I dont believe it gets things done. She got cremated and will say the hearse driver was lovely I didnt feel rushed and was so kind anyway numerous phone calls and visits later and also phoning the crem myself I demanded her internment to be on 10th March My main gripe is the headstone apart from being asked several times to go and see if it had been lifted to be altered (I dont think that should be down to me to check if it had been removed) and way finally it was lifted in April now all that has to happen is a simple S put on daughters and my mums name and dates and I am being told it will take 20 WEEKS complained to them and got a snotty woman from the stonemasons telling me that it would be October now I undewrstand due to the pandemic things are taking a little longer but 10 months from start to finish it just so wrong I cannot grieve the loss of my mum till this is all finished as its all been left to me to deal with and dont feel like the Co-Op are at all supportive and as for doing a pre paid plan I wouldnt bother
